Do you feel like your lips are too thin for your face? Maybe wrinkles are beginning to develop. At Orange County Cosmetic Surgery, Dr. Anthony Miller has helped people throughout Huntington Beach, Newport Beach, and Orange County get plump, luscious lips using our non-surgical lip augmentation procedure.
How Do Lip Fillers Work?
Lip fillers are injectables used in and around your lips to help smooth wrinkles and increase lip volume. These fillers not only change the size of your lips, but also give them a smoother, silkier appearance.
Depending on the type of lip filler we use, you can expect the results to last from 6 to 18 months.
During your initial consultation, Dr. Miller will help you decide if JUVÉDERM® or Restylane® is the best choice for you. Both injectable fillers are FDA approved and can produce almost instant and long-lasting results.
JUVÉDERM® is a dermal filler that helps clear wrinkles around different parts of the face, including the cheeks, nose, lips, and mouth. The solution is a gel made with hyaluronic acid (HA), which occurs naturally in the body and bonds with water molecules. This helps plump up and hydrate the skin and the lips, creating a smooth, natural appearance.
Restylane® works similarly to JUVÉDERM®, but it can also be used around the eyes. It also uses hyaluronic acid to add volume and lift to your lips. Both of these injectables take just a few minutes to inject. Dr. Miller will help make you comfortable throughout your visit and provide beautiful results.
